The More the Merrier

Oh hey, everybody!

So, after a "short" hiatus on the blogging front, we're back.  Hooray!

I have in store for you some deliciously out-dated blog posts, but FIRST -- first, first, first... we have an announcement:

And an introduction:

 Abigail Joye Vaughn

Yes, that's right!  We're having another girl!  Her due date?  12/12/12 -- isn't that neat?  Of course, I think the likelihood of her arriving on her due date is less than 1%, but it's fun to say, regardless.  She and Anna will be approximately 22 months apart. 

Mmmm.... visions of forcing my daughters to perform "Sisters" during Christmastime in years to come are already dancing in my head...

Getting back on track, our Abby is named after Abigail of the Bible (you can find her story in 1 Samuel 25) and my long-standing friend Christina (whose middle name is Joye).  Few people in my life have withstood the test of time the way Christina has -- she's one in a million, that's for sure.

As I write, I'm 18 weeks, 2 days into this pregnancy.  Here's a progression picture for you:

It's pretty amazing how much faster I started showing this time around!  The pooch had already started even at 9 weeks (although it was all bloat, I'm sure).
