Jinmee ~ the hostess with the mostest!
Lori drove all the way from California! I feel so special <3

Elissa and Tori are missing from this picture, as is my mom (who is behind the camera!)
Oh, there she is!

Envelopes in which we put notes to Abigail (and me!)
The party started out with plenty of food and chit-chat (as all good parties should), and then we moved on to some incredibly fun games! Bingo was played (c'mon, "baby blanket!") and then my favorite game -- Taboo! We had 3 teams of 3, and I got to give the clues to each team. Well... I'm just such an awesome clue-giver that we kept running out of cards before the timer was up! Behold, my awesome clue-giving in action:
I look... a little deranged.
Tori is shocked and awed by my Taboo powers! At least, that's how I remember it.
Listening intently (well... maybe Kathleen is contracting intently...)
The Purse Game (wherein Mom had something ridiculous like 180 points)
Then I got to open presents! Abby got lots of really cute clothes ALL FOR HER VERY OWN! I have felt bad that she is going to have mostly hand-me-downs, so it was really nice to get some things just for her. She also got her very own handmade blanket, which is so very special! Everyone was so generous, I can't thank you all enough!
My Present-Opening Face
Everyone also wrote a special note to Abigail or me and put them each in a lucky envelope. It was really sweet to read all of the messages, and I am going to keep them in their envelopes and put them in her baby book! Someday she will have the joy of reading them herself.
Writing a note...
It was such a lovely, enjoyable time. Thank you again to everyone that came and showed your support. You are all so sweet and so very dear to me! I love you!
